Watermelon season has not yet landed in my Pacific NW,
so I stop by the “clearance” shelf of flowers, on my trips to the hardware store, to look for rescue candidates. I mean, like your Wisteria, those plants were created and they exist to grow! They can add beauty and a feeling of personal accomplishment if we figure out how to stop slowing (or preventing?) their growth.
Happy Birthday Barbara!

Best of luck, gardeners!
Thank you, Flurb!
I am so glad you moved that wisteria ! I think I recall it as a rather sad little plant out on your porch.
I loved your parents' "lessons" in how to live a life. It made me remember my own parents' pearls of wisdom.
And Happy, Happy Birthday. Barbara dear.
